Casa Batlló: immersive entry with AR-led visit

A UNESCO-listed Gaudí house turned into an immersive, technology-led visit — projection, sound and the six-sided Gaudí Cube built into the self-guided route.

The experience

A UNESCO-listed Gaudí house turned into an immersive, technology-led visit.

Casa Batlló is one of Gaudí’s best-known Barcelona works — a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a bone-like façade and a mosaic-scaled roofline. This ticket combines the building itself with an immersive layer of augmented reality, projection and sound built into the visit.

A tablet and headset guide you through Gaudinian rooms of volumetric projection, motion sensors and a soundtrack composed for the space and performed by the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, alongside the Gaudí Cube — a six-sided LED installation unique to the building.

Casa Batlló is also the first cultural institution internationally to have a neurodivergent visitor-assistance team, through its collaboration with Specialisterne.
