The experience

Dresden’s Baroque old town by day, then the sandstone cliffs of Saxon Switzerland.

A full-day coach excursion to Dresden, the “Florence on the Elbe,” with a guided walking tour past Neumarkt Square, the rebuilt Frauenkirche, the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger Palace, Dresden Castle and the porcelain Fürstenzug mural, followed by free time to explore, eat and browse independently.

In the afternoon, the trip continues to Saxon Switzerland National Park for the Bastei Bridge, a historic sandstone span roughly 200 metres above the Elbe River connecting a series of dramatic rock formations, with time to walk across it and take in the panoramic viewpoints before the return to Berlin.
