Christiansborg Palace entry ticket

Entry to the Royal Reception Rooms, Royal Stables and medieval ruins beneath the palace that houses Denmark’s parliament.

Self-paced, most visits 2-3 hoursFrom €31

The experience

Entry to Christiansborg Palace, the only building in the world housing a country’s parliament, supreme court and royal reception rooms.

A single ticket covers the Royal Reception Rooms with the Queen’s Tapestries commissioned for Margrethe II’s 50th birthday, the Royal Stables, and the ruins of the two earlier Christiansborg castles preserved beneath the current building.

The palace stands on the same islet as Bishop Absalon’s original 12th-century fortress, and the excavated ruins beneath it trace Copenhagen’s continuous use of the site across more than 800 years.
