New York · experience
A multi-sensory art installation high above Madison Avenue — mirrored floors, glass ledges and an open-air terrace, designed by Kenzo Digital as one continuous artwork.
The experience
SUMMIT sits at the top of One Vanderbilt, beside Grand Central Terminal, and treats the ascent as the experience rather than the interruption before it: a sensory-stimulating lift ride opens onto SUMMIT AIR, two mirrored floors that multiply the Manhattan skyline into an infinite reflection.
SUMMIT LEVITATION follows — glass ledges suspended over the street — before the AFFINITY room’s silver balloons and an open-air terrace on the 93rd floor. Kenzo Digital designed the whole sequence as a single immersive artwork rather than a conventional observation deck.
An evening version, SUMMIT at Night, swaps the daylight views for an LED light show, music and a cocktail bar on the 93rd floor — a more adult, low-lit alternative to the daytime visit.
