Paris · experience
Napoleon’s monument to the Grande Armée, with rooftop access for a 360° view along the Champs-Élysées and toward the Eiffel Tower — 284 steps up.
The experience
Standing at the centre of the Étoile roundabout, the Arc de Triomphe is a Neoclassical take on the Roman triumphal arch, carved with the names of 128 battles and 558 generals from Napoleon’s campaigns. At its base, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier honours the 1.3 million French dead of the First World War; its eternal flame is rekindled each evening at 6:30pm.
This ticket includes rooftop access — 284 steps up — for a 360° view along the Champs-Élysées, across the Seine and toward the Eiffel Tower, plus an exhibition inside the monument on its symbolism and history.
