Tokyo · experience
Direct entry to the Tembo Deck, 350 metres above Sumida — the clearest self-paced view of Tokyo, and of Mt Fuji on a clear day.
The experience
At 634 metres, Tokyo Skytree is the tallest structure in the country, and this ticket is for the Tembo Deck — the lower of its two observation levels, 350 metres up, reached by a dedicated high-speed lift from the base in Sumida.
The deck wraps the tower in a continuous glass gallery, with Asakusa and the Sumida River directly below and the wider city running out toward the bay; on a clear day, and most reliably in winter, Mt Fuji is visible on the western horizon.
This is a direct-entry ticket rather than a guided visit, so the pace is entirely the guest’s own — a section of glass flooring near the base of the deck is the one deliberate thrill on an otherwise unhurried, self-guided walk around the level.
