The experience

A full day by train and coach to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków, and back.

A full-day journey that begins with a direct train from Warsaw Central Station to Kraków, continues by coach to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum for a guided walk through Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau with skip-the-line entry, and returns to Kraków for free time before the train back to Warsaw.

This is one of the heaviest and most significant days a Warsaw stay can include — a direct visit to the site of the Holocaust’s largest single killing centre — and it asks a great deal of the day itself: an early start, some seven hours of travel, and a guided visit that is deliberately unhurried and unflinching.
