Warsaw · experience
A small-group day trip from Warsaw to the largest castle complex in Europe, continuing to Gdańsk’s Old Town or the seaside resort of Sopot.
The experience
A small-group day trip, capped at 8 guests with hotel pickup, that travels roughly four and a half hours from Warsaw to Malbork Castle, the largest castle complex in Europe by land area, founded by the Knights of the Teutonic Order, for a guided walk through its High Castle courtyard, cloisters and Summer Refectory and the Gothic Grand Masters’ Palace of the Middle Castle.
After lunch at a local restaurant, the day continues to either Gdańsk’s historic Hanseatic Old Town — the Amber Museum, the Golden Gate, Artus Court and the Basilica of the Assumption — or, as an alternative, the seaside resort of Sopot for a walk along the longest wooden pier in Europe.
